Jose Mario Ortega, MD

Jose Mario Ortega, MD has been a pediatrician at International Pediatrics since 1999. Son of founder Mario Ortega, MD he graduated from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala and completed his residency at the Holtz Children’s Hospital at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center where he was Chief Resident.

Jose Mario Ortega, MD currently serves on the Medical Advisory Committee of one of the largest insurance companies in the area. He is also a Director of a local children’s soccer club. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and attending Capitals and soccer games.

Sandra Miller FNP-BC

Sandra hails from Mexico, but her upbringing was that of an Army brat. She spent her formative years overseas before enrolling at Northeastern University in Boston to pursue a Bachelor’s in Biology, which she completed in 1999. In 2015, she obtained a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Her experience spans the treatment of patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and GYN patients. Sandra prides herself on advocating for her patients and communicating effectively with them. She enjoys spending quality moments with her husband and three children in her free time, indulging in culinary pursuits, delving into literature, and basking in the great outdoors.

Allison Leonardi, PA

Allison Leonardi is a qualified Physician Assistant responsible for providing medical care to patients in our pediatric and family medicine clinics. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her Physician Assistant education from the University of Maryland Baltimore and Anne Arundel Community College. Allison has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care and is passionate about caring for families and children as they grow. She is committed to providing all patients with high-quality, evidence-based care in both English and Spanish.

Allison likes to travel, cook, or spend time with her husband and her adorable cat, Athena, in her free time. Her passion for medicine is reflected in her dedication to exceptional patient care.
